In the winter of 2021, Tolliver independently designed and co-created a series of ironworks for the Four Seasons Residential Hotel in New Orleans, LA. The collection speaks to the rich history, exceptional location, and distinct architecture of the city and the Four Seasons' building, previously known as the World Trade Center.

Artists Gabrielle Tolliver, Sofia Olexia-Daigle, Elijah Turk, and Jermaine Lindsey were selected to design and construct 52 ironwork pieces that highlight themes of past and present. Acclaimed local artist Rontherin Ratliff mentored the team of artists through the process of fulfilling the commission. The pieces will hang on the four corners of each guest floor hallway.

Our team reflected on the experience, history, and culture of New Orleans. Ornamental iron materials were sourced from salvage yards and welded together to create timeless pieces inspired by cardinal directions:

North (Culture/Intersectionality), South (Commerce/Fluctuation), East (Resilience/Climate), and West, (Time/Community).
